4. Direction for use of Duodenal Feeding Tube

● Open the individual package.

● Place duodenal tube at the root of the tongue and push it following gulps to the 1st mark.

● Make sure that the tube is in stomach (by auscultation of upper abdomen after 20-ml air inflation through the tube).

● Push the tube 7 – 10 cm forward (2nd mark), then to the 3rd mark.
